A Personalized New Albany Links Wedding reception

So wedding planning can be a bit overwhelming as you plan over the most minute details. But trust us, it does pay off.  Matthew & McKenzie's wedding is proof that the small personal details will pay off big for your reception.

Matthew & McKenzie hired Buckeye Sounds for their ceremony and reception at the New Albany Links. They had seen us a few other events before meeting with us.  We knew almost immediately that they were trying to a create their own personal touches for their wedding day.  We couldn't wait to work with them to make it happen.

This wedding happened in early October and the weather could not have been any better! That allowed the ceremony to take place on the outside patio.  We supplied the music and the lav microphones so that the guests could hear the bride and groom's vows on a windy day.

There were lots of family touched for the ceremony. First off, the two grandmothers were the flower girls. I just love the picture of the groomsman escorting the two grandmothers down the aisle as they throw the flowers. To make the ceremony even more personal, the grandfather was the officiant.  We love how families can be brought into the wedding ceremonies!

The guests had a nice cocktail hour in the main room which allowed them to watch the football games. Then they all moved outside to the beautiful tent for the reception.

The first dance was different of course. The bride and groom had one of their friends sing the first dance song. We simply had him patch in his guitar our sound system. The bride and groom and their guests really enjoyed it.

The rest of the night was just a wonderful celebration.  The weather was wonderful.  The food was good. And the guests were there to have a good time.  What more can you ask for?

We did bring out our LOVE Letters for this reception and there were some really nice pictures taken in front of them.

I have to talk about the donuts! They had one of the most impressive food layouts that I've seen in a long time....and it was ALL donuts.  It was right as the guest first came into the tent. The display was perfect and the donuts looked as good as they tasted.

THANK YOU to Matthew & McKenzie.
