I was just in Las Vegas attending a DJ / photo booth convention. I do this to stay on top off what’s new and unique for school events.

While at this convention, I saw some really fun additions that I am considering purchasing for my business. I know that school events are always looking for new ways to engage their students and make it more fun for them.

I think these new additions could help us make our school events even more fun.

But honestly, YOUR opinion is more important. So before I make this commitment, I want to hear what my clients think about these items.

PHOTO BOOTH WITH VIDEO SCREENS

So this is ‘just a photo booth’ with one big exception. It does all the same things that our current photo booths do.

BUT the big exception is that it has a built in video screen that can display many different items
- your school logo
- random pictures of the students / activities
- videos clips / pictures of your theme
- a hashtag for your wedding day
- video clips of various events ie clips from homecoming games

I think it can even show the pictures that it has already taken at the dance!

The ideas for this are very wide ranging!

MEMORY MATCH GAME

This was the most exciting item for me.

Your students (either individually or as a group) can play a timed interactive game on a large touch screen. The goal is to find the matching pictures that are hidden. The standings are updated on after every play.

What will appeal to school events is the branding that this game offers. Almost every aspect of this game can be branded for your event or school!

The students will enjoy playing during at almost any school event. This large screen will attract a lot of attention. Use it help sell tickets to the dance or even give prizes for the fastest times at the dance!

There are MANY possibilities for this!

MINI GOLF TO GO

So I am not too sure about this for schools, but I am showing it anyhow.

This might be a great idea for big events to start or end the school year. Or maybe use for the dances for the students that don’t like to dance????

9 or 18 holes can be set up in an area of half a basketball court. The holes have a variety of complexity to them.

Can be played inside or outside.

Perfect for team building.

I saw this, and am thinking it would go over well with some events…but not sure about schools.

This is a new interactive way of getting and sharing photos!

This software uses facial recognition to send your pictures to you. It automatically creates a PERSONAL gallery of pictures that you appear in.

This makes sharing of the pictures even easier.

This can be used for a multi-day event. This is also good for larger crowds over a larger area.
