See A Wonderful First Dance With SparklerS

Abbey and Matthew had a really nice country wedding. That's about as simple as we can make it.

This wedding had all the things that we important to the bride and groom, their families, their friends, and their faith, and it showed the entire day.

Having both their ceremony and reception at Silverleaf Farms in Baltimore Ohio was the perfect backdrop. This location has that 'almost perfect' overlook of beautiful farmland.

The ceremony was delayed to a 'small' rain storm. Oh who are we kidding? It was a huge downpour! But once it was over, the family dried the chairs, and we re-set up our wedding ceremony sound system, and the ceremony was back on!

From there we went inside for the dinner. The food was SO GOOD. I love BBQ and it was wonderful.

One of the highlights of the entire day was when the bridesmaid sang a song to Abbey and Matthew. You see Abbey's maiden name was Freville - which sort of sounds like De Vil, as in Cruella de Vill. So they sang the Cruella de Vill song but replace the name with Abbey Freville. Not only was it MUCH more complimentary (it would HAVE to be...wouldn't it?), it brought the house down too. It was so very clever.

The highlight of the day was Abbey & Matthew's first dance. We moved it outside where the ceremony had happened, gathered everyone into a large circle, and handed out sparklers. The crowd quickly lit all the sparklers while I started the first dance song. This made for awesome pictures!

Having a unique location like this gives the opportunity to get great pictures and we have to give a special shout out to Stephanie from Stephanie West Photography. She got these great pictures and they really captured the day.
