Steven & Sydney's Summertime Wedding
A FUN Rural Summertime Wedding
Steven & Sydney had a reception that involved a lot of ‘first’ for Buckeye Sounds. It was a wonderful day all around.
The first first was the wedding venue. The bride and groom wanted to have a rural look to their reception and they nailed it perfectly with their selection of The Farm At Harvest Hill. This is an actual working farm on 35 acres which is just a little north of Delaware, Ohio. In addition to a really rural looking reception venue, you have great place for the men and women to get ready, and a nice outdoor area for a cocktail hour.
They started off with the ceremony. The venue has a really nice ceremony place that is in between the building. The bride looked stunning as her proud father walked her down the aisle. Another really nice personal touch was that the groom’s grandmother played the piano for the ceremony.
Buckeye Sounds supplied the music and microphones for the ceremony so that the guests could hear the vows.
First Dance Song:
"You Are the Reason" - Calum Scott and Leona Lewis
Father-Daughter Song:
"Isn't She Loveley" - John Stoddart
Cake Cutting Song:
"Unforgettable " - Thomas Rhett
The guests had an outdoor cocktail hour while the wedding party was out taking some pictures.
The guests made their way into the main room which had a great rural look with lighting and white swags in the rafters. The sunglass wearing wedding party introductions were a forecast of a fun reception.
Another first for us came to Father-Daughter dance song. We’ve played “Isn’t She Lovely” lots of times, but the version that we played - by John Stoddart - is a VERY NICE version. You need to go to Youtube and listen to this song, you will love it.
The reception was just the great party that you hope every reception will be. We got a lot of great pictures of the bride and groom celebrating with their family and friends.
The night ended with a sparkler send off that was captured perfectly.
Congrats to Sydney & Steven.
